The Ivan Yegorovich Morozov Company was one of the leading jewellery firms in St Petersburg during the second half of the nineteenth and the early twentieth century. Established in 1849, it was appointed Supplier to the Imperial Court and gained renown for the production of gold and silver objects, commemorative snuff boxes, cigarette cases, presentation pieces and ceremonial works distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship and the traditions of Russian Imperial goldsmithing.
