Pass Izrael Abramovich (Isidor Alekseevich) 1868-1935
Russian painter, graphic artist, portraitist, master of still life and genre compositions.
He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1878 - 1885). During the years of study, he was awarded small silver medals in 1879 and 1880. In 1885 he received the title of artist of the 2nd degree. Member and exhibitor of the Society of Individualist Artists, St. Petersburg (Petrograd) Society of Artists. His works were reproduced in the magazines "Niva", "Rodina", "Iskra". Participated in the painting of the facades of the temple of the Jaeger Sloboda in Gatchina. His work is presented in a number of museum collections, including the State Museum-Reserve Tsarskoe Selo in St. Petersburg, the State Literary Museum of Moscow, the Penza Regional Art Gallery named after I. K.A. Savitsky and other regional collections, as well as in numerous private collections.
