Тонкая работа по металлу и согласованный колорит репрезентует конного гусара в атаке ,в горах.Выхватив саблю на вздыбленном коне он взбирается на скалу.Венгерский головной убор всадника, возможно указывает и романтизирует венгерские революционные события 1848-1849 годов.Не смотря на статичную фронтальность парадного портрета композиция организованна ассиметрично. Тонкая фактура посеребренного маятника и согласованная с ней патина лошади оттеняют общее звучание золота. Его крупная вязь ренессансного узора примета времени Луи Филиппа - излета романтизма. Н-44см.
