A delightful Crimean sketch with a view of the coastal stones, buildings and mountains on a hot summer afternoon. In the picture, the mobility of a windy day is felt. It is built on multidirectional vectors of movement of the sea, and clouds rising to the mountains. The diagonal composition is balanced by three poplar verticals and a green-roofed house that gives a sense of the presence of people. The unsteady haze of a hot day is conveyed by the mobility of the atmosphere, surf, glare of stones and running clouds. The characteristic Crimean flavor is created by the relationship of deep blue, purple tones of the sea, mountains and yellow-white stones of the walls, faded in the sun.

Восхитительный Крымский этюд с видом на прибрежные камни, строения и горы в жаркий, летний полдень. Подвижность ветреного дня строится на разновекторных движения моря и наплывающих на горы облаков. Диагональная композиция уравновешивается тремя вертикалями тополей и домиком под зеленой крышей, который дает ощущение присутствия людей. Зыбкое марево жаркого дня передается подвижностью атмосферы, прибоя, бликами камней и бегущими облаками. Характерный крымский колорит создан отношением глубоких синих, фиолетовых тонов моря, гор и желто-белых камней стен, выцветших на солнце. Пейзаж выполнен в лучших традициях Русской импрессионистической школы.
