Large wall mirror in the Rococo style. Carved wood, gilding. Measure and harmony define it. Neither the diagonal of the garrulous putti, nor the roccaille framing of the top and bottom violate the discreet oval of the mirror. Its smooth silhouette subordinates the decor to harmony and is full of chamber lyrics. The frame is richly decorated with rocaille elements: foliage, roses and putti holding garlands of flowers. H-135 cm.

Large porcelain vase "The Birth of Venus" with the stigma of the manufacturer "Sevre". Two-sided painting on an amphora of renaissance proportions of blue color with an ornament. In the head medallion "Birth of Venus”. She is in the shell with an arc of red fluttering fabric surrounded by cupids and music nymphs. Fresh wind accompanies her triumph. Both water and earth and bowels are subject to the goddess. Painting Spring. I. Pokhitonov.

Painting Spring from the series Alder has blossomed. At the bottom right is the signature in Cyrillic and Latin I. Pokhitonov. I.Pohitonow. Presumably 1890s. The painting depicts early spring with puddles and snow that has not yet melted. In the center of the landscape is a tree that has just blossomed. Together with the grove in the distance, it forms the triangular frame of the work. In it, diagonally, following the puddles to the elevation on the right, a damp field stretches. On the contrary, the snow patch forms a cross line and almost touches the mournful procession of rural work. The state of indefinite sadness and hope, so famous in Russian life, appears in this work. Painting size: 20 x 27 cm. Expert opinion: State Tretyakov Gallery.
