Large salon vase with flowers. Ernst August Leuteritz. Meissen 19th century

The large salon vase was created according to the model of Ernst August Leuteritz between 1860 and 1863 and is an outstanding example of Meissen porcelain of the late 19th century. The vase is made of two parts and is distinguished by its refined shape, reminiscent of a baluster with a fluted round foot and high curled handles. The elegant relief decor includes acanthus leaves, ornamental friezes and a sculpted pearl strip, giving the product a majestic and noble appearance. The main background of the vase is painted in a rich royal cobalt color, which effectively contrasts with the polychrome overglaze painting. On both sides of the body of the vase are depicted detailed bouquets of roses and chrysanthemums, executed with a high degree of skill. The rich gold trim and fine edging emphasise the sophistication and luxury of this work of art. The top of the vase bears an underglaze blue mark and a first-class mark, confirming the highest quality of production at the Meissen manufactory. The mark dates back to the period 1860-1924, which attests to the significant collectible value of this piece. References: Bergmann, Meissener Figuren, supplementary volume, p. 56, fig. 2100. TAHAN Carriage Bar in Napoleon III Style. 19th Century.

This magnificent Cave à liqueur, made in the third quarter of the 19th century by TAHAN, is an example of outstanding craftsmanship and elegance. Its unique design, decorated with brass and tortoiseshell inlays in the Boulle style, makes it an outstanding attribute of a man’s study, created for leisurely conversations and the enjoyment of fine drinks. The bar has a removable gilded insert that holds four bottles for spirits, decorated with golden designs of flowers and stars. The set also includes sixteen faceted glasses, decorated in the same style. Signature on the lock: “Tahan Ft Rue de la Paix” Dimensions when closed: height 26 cm, width 34 cm, depth 26 cm. Completely professionally restored.

Silver, wedding salt shaker on a loaf, Pavel Ovchinnikov. Moscow. 1874 An essential attribute of a wedding ceremony, the rite of bread and salt, as a sign of generous hospitality and well-being. Assumes frank openness of the family and dinner parties. Originally executed as a skirt tablecloth, with living folds and a cloisonne enamel belt. The four-leaf buckle organically and naturally finds a lodgment in the silver fabric of the material, and thus ensures the organic unity of the object and the image. The full stamp of Pavel Ovchinnikov under the coat of arms on the salt shaker. And the small stamp of P.O. in an oval, the city hallmark of Moscow in 1874, Viktor Savinkov. 84 standard silver - on the outside of the skirt. Total weight: 208 gr.
